Where History Meets Heart
Originally built in 1913 as a simple barn, the property was reborn in the 1940s as Loban’s Machine Shop, serving the local rail and farming industries. The structure’s sturdy concrete columns, steel roof, and handmade bricks (pressed right on site) still whisper the stories of those early days.
The Loban family added their residence soon after, leaving behind touches of nostalgia—like the brick imprints of the Loban daughters’ hands. One of those daughters, Roz Denny Fox, would go on to become a celebrated Harlequin Romance author, penning 50 novels inspired by small-town life and love.
